Learning Disability
Learning disability is a reduced intellectual ability and difficulty with everyday activities – for example household tasks, socialising or managing money which affects the individual for their whole life.
We provide full support to people with learning disabilities, the level of support is dependent on the individual and what they require. A care plan is created to suit the needs of the service user to help them believe in themselves and develop the quality of their lifestyle.
Autism Care
Autism is a neurological and developmental disorder that affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave. People with autism find it difficult to engage with people, sometimes are unable to understand peoples actions in some situations, they even find it hard to create and maintain relationships. Understanding non-verbal communication is difficult. At Pendulum rise we help to understand non-verbal and verbal commands and we encourage them to participate in discussions. People on the autistic spectrum can find it challenging to take control of their lives. We make sure that each person is getting an effective and tailored treatment that suits them. Our special support, love, and care, help them learn new skills, work with minimum difficulties and interact comfortably. We offer all kinds of support and activities for the service users in our care to enhance their capabilities, so that they can live a more independent life within their community and in society.
Dementia
Dementia is a complex disease and it can be easy to feel stressed when there are so many small changes happening in your daily routine. It is important that people with dementia can live comfortably and with a sense of security. The best way is to ensure that the client is constantly receiving an excellent level of care from an expertly-trained specialist who is familiar with their needs.
