Hospital to home
When admitted in hospital, you may look forward to going back home to recover in your own space where you feel comfortable, relaxed. However there could be fear and anxiety about going back home due to the increased level of care required, hence you may be thinking of moving to a home.
Our From Hospital to Home Service helps you return home after your hospital admission and we help you settle back to your home routine and surroundings. We help with all level of cares, from high level to the most minimal, we are able to provide you with a healthcare assistant or support worker to assist you.

Live-In Care
Home for many of us is a treasure box, milestones, memories and life events, the happy ones and the sad ones, the thought of leaving all these memories and life events maybe worrying especially with reduced independence. The only option that may come to mind might be going into residential or nursing home.
Here at Pendulum Rise we have a 24-hour live-in care service; a healthcare assistant or support worker to move into your home with you to provide best possible service.

To ensure every need is met we make sure every individual has personalised plan that and is treated with care, respect, kindness and dignity. We also have a continuity care, limiting the number of carers in order to ensure that your preferences, needs and personality is known.
Personal Care
It may be a struggle to carry out everyday activities when faced with an illness or immobility that reduces your performance.
Our personal care is designed to support day to day living, emotional support to live independently, dressing, getting in and out of bed, bathing, care and administering medication when it suits you. Our carers are available to help and ensure at all times you feel comfortable.
Administering Medication
It is easy to forget to take prescribed medication or even take it the right was which is a health hazard. Our team is able to ensure that you take your medication at the right time, right way with the right dosage. If your condition does not allow you take your medication yourself, our carer is able to administer as long as they have a clear prescription with instructions to follow.
Respite Care
Our Respite care is here to ensure that your loved ones support and care are met in your absence. It can be disruptive when you put your loved one In residential care as routines can be interrupted, this service has been put in place to ensure that your loved ones remain in a familiar surrounding with their own support system. We understand the rough decision to bring a stranger into your personal space, but be rest assured we are here to care for all level of needs for the temporary care.
This care can last from a couple of days to a few weeks depending on the level of needs. Respite care is not only for when you need a break, it can also be used in case of an emergency. It is also useful if you or your loved one is wanting to try home care for a short period of time and want to see if it works.
Respite care provides support for Cancer, Stroke, Alzheimer, multiple Sclerosis and many more. We are able to give part time or temporary respite care.

- Hygiene & Personal Care – Assistance in using the toilet, bathing and dressing, this is done professionally and respectfully.
- Light housekeeping – Taking out trash, organisation, doing dishes or laundry.
- Transportation – Comfortability is key wherever you are going, we can book you ride, you can take the bus or take your own vehicle, the choice is yours.
Surgery / Postoperative Aftercare
Postoperative Care is the type of care given after a surgical procedure after which assistance is needed in getting back on your feet. This medical assistance is usually provided in the comfort of your home by support workers and nurses. Post surgical procedure, an assessment is usually performed to know if you will require postoperative care at home.
The type of care needed would solely depend on the the type of procedure undergone and health history of the individual.
Post operative care is necessary if:
- The individual is in so much pain.
- Have no assistance at home.
- Family members are too far away.
- Inability to move freely.
- Requires regular hospital check ups.
With the above listed without exhausting the list, we recommend to have a postoperative carer hired.
Our carers will be providing the below list and more depending on individual circumstances.
- Prepping delicious healthy meals which will help with your recovery.
- Administering all medications prescribed.
- Ensuring a clean and tidy environment.
- Checking your stats I.e boos pressure and temperature.
- Personal care and hygiene.
- Going for walks, shopping etc.
- Cleaning and redressing wounds.
- Follow up appointments and keeping family members updated on your care.
